Keith Nevett, Business Development Director and Nick Frost, President of Captive Management, will also be delivering a session on Reinsurance & Fronting: A Generational Hard Reinsurance Market – What that means for captive owners, captive managers, and more at 2pm on Thursday 25 January. This highly anticipated annual session will address fronting challenges, and how to navigate them as well as the generational hard reinsurance market, and what it means for those impacted.

Keith will also be discussing the Lloyd’s Captive Syndicate, which is a new form of risk financing offered by our Lloyd’s Managing Agent, Asta.

In May 2023, Davies expanded its global captive management capability through the acquisition of assets from Guernsey licenced insurance manager, Ortac Underwriting. The Ortac team’s expertise combined with Davies’ existing captive management facility in Guernsey has created a captive management centre of excellence for the UK and Europe on par with Davies’ successful operations in the U.S. and Bermuda.
